There are also some nice cameos in the film from actors that you wouldn’t expect.Īll in all, Space Jam 2: A New Legacy has become a fun movie for the little ones, but as an adult I see more beautiful things in the references, even if I don’t understand certain choices in terms of characters for a children’s film. The acting in the film is also not really special, especially LeBron James. As an adult I think this film is funny but not a high flyer I could understand that the children love all the actions in the basketball court and the jokes but as an adult I see more beautiful moments in the references because I get flashbacks to the old movies that I used to think were super beautiful and cool. In the beginning, the story is nice, then the film should have more of the references that it brings with it. The story is not very special unfortunately and mostly predictable. Some things struck me, for example you will see Pennywise from IT in the film and zombies and in my opinion this is not quite suitable for a children’s film. All nice references and if you watch the film as an adult you will be able to reminisce about older classic films from the Warner Bros library. You’ll see Granny knocking over agents in slow motion in The Matrix scene, Tazmanian Devil delivered by Rick and Morty, and references to various Harry Potter films and Foghorn Leghorn preparing a Game of Thrones dragon. In the film you will see many references to other films from the Warner Bros. When LeBron James’ family goes to the Warner studio, they are swallowed up in a computer and there they are introduced to the story’s villain Al G Rhytm (played by Don Cheadle).
LeBron’s son is more involved in developing games for the E3 boot camp and wants to put his future in it, but his father doesn’t see that. As a father, he also takes this principle with him to his son Dom (Dominique).
The story begins with a young LeBron James who is told by his coach that he must perform or he will not progress with his career.
